Re: scoleciphobia -- you poor thing! I mean that sincerely - it must be horrible after a rainstorm and I'm sure there are people who don't take it seriously when you tell them. I used to know a woman who was so afraid of mice she'd go into a panic attack from a photo of one -shaking, crying, and frozen to the spot. My fear of heights is getting worse over the years (and no I'm not 13 yrs. old!) but at least it can't "sneak up" on me unexpectedly like yours can...
