Locke Ober Restaurant - Boston MA
Here are photos from the Locke Ober Restaurant, taken during the Chaine des Rotisseurs Holiday Gala 2009!
This main room - where we had our dinner - was richly decorated in carven dark wood. I love this sort of style. Apparently until 1971 it was men only! That is fairly scary to men. Women were only allowed in the room at New Year's Eve and when Harvard played Yale.

This is the entryway to the restaurant, very ornate.

This "lucky statue" by the entryway has its feet polished by people touching the feet.

The windows had beautiful Tiffany glass headers.

Even the Exit Sign had a stained glass look to it.

The bar was very lovely.

Thsi is a corner area of the bar.

Holiday decor reflected a feather theme.

Another holiday decor item.

A Christmas tree in the lobby.

I paid for this event from my own funds; I was not provided free access or compensation for any part of it.
