Basics of Spicy Sangria Recipes
Normally sangria is about relaxing with gentle fruity flavors. You start with a light, fruity wine, you add in some tasty fruit, mix in a bunch of ice cubes, and sip quietly in the shade. However, sometimes you want to kick things up a notch and get things spicy!
Some of my favorite sangria recipes fall into this spicy arena. I adore cinnamon red hots, so any recipe that involves those is sure to be a winner in my book! Hot sauce is another surprise ingredient which can really add a kick to your sangria.
Be warned - these recipes aren't for the tame at heart! If you like things quiet and sedate, we've got a lot of recipes for you over in the fruity area. If you're ready for a challenge, though, read on to the spicy recipes!

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
