Multiple Bottle Wood Table Wine Rack

One of the first racks I got was actually because of a gift certificate I got from work for $50, from Filenes I believe. I'm not normally a mall shopper, so I wandered through Filenes with my boyfriend trying to figure out what I could spent this one. Then I saw this! It's perfect for holding the various rums and such I keep around for making fun mixed drinks, and holds our cheap wineglasses.

Note that this photo is taken by a heat vent - don't do this at home! This is a temporary location for this rack while we reorganize to find it a new home. Keeping your alcohol by a heat source is a baaaaaaaaad idea. The wines we keep in here aren't our good ones - they're mostly our homemade attempts that we're working our way through. Keeping wine in your kitchen subjects it to all sorts of heat variations which are really awful for wine.

It is a pretty rack, though, and stores the glassware well. Relatively well, I should say - the leftmost hanger is too big for the bottoms of stems and we dropped a glass or two before we realized that. The martini glasses on the right are rainbow ones from Pier One Imports which are great fun to use. Just don't wash them in your dishwasher! The rainbow finish is delicate and can dishwash right off.
