Wine Smarts Card Game

With the Wine Smarts card game, you have four types of cards with wine information. You can use them as flash cards, or play various types of games with your friends.

The four types of cards are: grapes, regions, vocabulary and wild cards. You get a question and four possible answers. For example, one of the grape questions is:

Which of the following likely describes a wine made from Gewurztraminer grapes?

a: green peppers, asparagus
b: rose water, lychee
c: astringent, cherry, plum
d: burnt match, butterscotch

You can use the cards as fun flash-cards, or play various games. Two are recommended. In one, you cycle through each player one at a time, and they choose a category. They have to successfully answer 3 in each category first to win.

In the second game, you shuffle the cards and simply draw from the deck. Whoever answers 12 first, wins! While the game is great fun, there are only 25 cards per type, so once you play the game a few times, you've learned all of the answers :)
