I am really not a huge fan of ratings at all. Wine is like art, or music. What one person loves, another person can hate. One person might love merlots with tannins. Another person might hate those merlots. Remember, judge for YOURSELF which wines you will enjoy based on your own palate. Your own ratings can help you remember which wines you really enjoy, but take all other peoples' reviews with a large grain of salt. Their views may not be yours.
