Day 2 - Killer Sludge ...
We get home after work - it's only been 24 hours since the yeast has
been sprinkled on the wine to get things started. I go upstairs to
where the wine is staying warm.
See the layer of sludge above the thermometer? There's a tiny layer of
white foam beneath it, but it's mostly purple sludge.
