Spanish Wine Bottle Labels
Spain has an amazing history when it comes to wine. Spain was growing wine grapes long before the Romans came along and began planting their Italian vines across Europe! In modern times Spain is best known for its Rioja red wine, but back in the days of Colonial America everybody was drinking Sherry, the fortified Spanish wine with a kick. Edgar Allen Poe even wrote a story about Amontillado, one of these famous sherries!
Below is Amontillado - a Spanish Sherry
Below is Harvey's Bristol Cream - also a Spanish Sherry! This is NOT a "creamy" drink. Cream in the name means "the best".
