Mardi Gras is known by many other names, including Fat Tuesday and Carnival. It's the final day of celebration before the onset of the fasting of Lent. Here are wines to help you celebrate!

Mardi Gras is actually simply the French phrase for Fat Tuesday. Settlers from France brought over their culture as well as their cuisine when they settled in New Orleans. If you're putting together a New Orleans party, here are some great French wines to include.

Carinival is the name given to the huge Mardi Gras celebration held in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. You usually can't find any Brazilian wines outside of Brazil, so here are some wines from Chile and Argentina that go well with the traditional Brazilian foods.
